They are mostly organized by individuals who have specials ethos towards specific community base projects that aligns with the mission and vision of the organization. Proposals are welcome. ONE CHILD, ONE SOAP
The ONE CHILD, ONE SOAP project is part of the QSR’s physical health and well-being awareness program initiative to fight against COVID -19 pandemic. This project has been organized successfully in 5 different communities in Kibera, Kenya. The project offers health and wellness awareness to children and teenagers (mostly 5-19 years old) in these communities, and specifically focus on COVID- 19, showing practical examples of precautions to prevent the spread of the virus.
Through this project QSR has distributed soap to over 700 children and teenagers within two months. Fundraisers together with Smile Restorers at the fore front of this project can help us stop the spread of coronavirus, and provide basic hygiene requirement for vulnerable and less-privileged children in slum areas around the world.
Career Network Mechanism Fundraising
Giving every teenager and young adult the opportunity to find purposeful career stabilizes the community and the occupational well-being for the future citizens of that community. Career Network Mechanism program does such that for vulnerable youths , bringing them smiles that last a lifetime. Fundraisers join us to secure a career path for teenagers and young adults and develop young entrepreneurs
Leisure and Recreation Expedition (LeRec Program) Fundraising
Leisure and recreation experiences are a child’s right. Not every child is privileged to have a quality creative pleasurable experience program. The goal of this program is to include vulnerable, less-privileged and at-risk children with social skills, and develop their social-psychological wellbeing
This project brings new experiences to the children we serve. It also provides an opportunity for them to learn and explore new activities, that boost self-confidence, and emotional wellbeing. LET KIDS FEEL SAFE, FREE, AND BELONGING
SOCIAL-CAMPUS COALITION FUND
Social-Campus Coalition (SCC) fundraising initiative brings individuals with a common interest to socialize professionally and help us raise funding for programs. With our SCC plans, fundraisers can also test your fundraising abilities and capabilities, build fundraising experiences, and help the vulnerable population we serve around the world. Training Smile Restorers as Community Health Workers and Human Service Providers
Effective and efficient community health and wellbeing services come with effective training. The training is not without a price and sacrifices. But we make it easier with your support. This fundraising is to help us train Smile Restores who are serving and saving lives of vulnerable and less-privileged individuals, including orphaned and fostered children/teenagers, homeless, at-risk women, single mothers, and individuals with disabilities in our community.
For every one Smile Restorer trained, 2-3 vulnerable individuals, are served daily, with outstanding holistic health and wellbeing service to boost their sense of living. Both Smile Restorer and recipient appreciate life worth living! Let’s help out community be all-inclusive with an active pleasurable daily lifestyle for everyone. Since the beginning of this organization, Smile Restorers have been able to serve over 200 vulnerable children, teenagers, and young adults in different communities in Africa. The funding we raised here will help us train more Smile Restorers to be community and allied health workers, wellbeing advocates, and human service providers.
Single Kid Smile Outreach program
The program has always restored hope to orphaned children and teenagers; One Child at a Time! This time, we bring brings young and middle-aged teachers and workers, leaders to share their passion in the social-campus coalition fundraising program to socialized, learn and lead other activities as their help support Single Kid Smile Outreach program
Do you have unwanted toys yet suitable to restore the smile of another but you can use them no more? Do you want to help us give these orphaned children the experiences that would last time a lifetime? How about special gifts like clothes, shoes, food, and love? Basic needs help build our self-esteem, make us feel belonging, and save us from being vulnerable. It even has more impact on children and teenagers. Together we can make them feel really special.
