At Risk Women Support Initiative

Women are resilient and strong, yet they can be extremely vulnerable in times of stressor as they maneuver to find their place of vitality. They can do all they can to stay afloat in the waters of various adverse situations and challenges, yet remain vulnerable to longterm crisis. A lot of women are experiencing different forms of physical and emotional abuse in their relationships. Many teenage girls and young women are living promiscuous lifestyles of prostitution, and exposure to teenage pregnancy due to financial constraints, homelessness, and despair are the states of many women in our communities.

The At-Risk Women Support Initiative is a way of providing support to these vulnerable women and young girls through counseling, food, shelter, and clothing, etc.
